Meet the Founder

I'm Lashonda Gaskin. For over 10 years, I've worked as a Probation Officer, building my career around accountability, rehabilitation, advocacy, and helping people move through challenging circumstances. That work taught me how to balance compassion with accountability, and how much guidance, structure, and understanding can change the direction of someone's life. Along the way, I built deep experience in case management, risk assessment, crisis intervention, and working closely with individuals, families, courts, and community organizations to help people meet their responsibilities while working toward something better. Destiny Builder's Mentoring Co. grew out of that same belief I've carried through my whole career: a person's circumstances or past decisions don't have to define their future. Every kid deserves someone who leads with integrity, compassion, and purpose, someone who sees their potential and helps them build toward it, one step at a time.
